Obama campaign debuts Truth Team websites
The Obama campaign launched the Truth Team, a “network of supporters of President Obama who are committed to responding to unfounded attacks and defending the President’s record.”
It seems to be an extension of a similar 2008 campaign site called ”Fight the Smears.” Notice if you take the home page link on the old page, you’re taken to an index page for one of three sections of the new effort. The three divisions are Attach Watch, Keeping GOP Honest and Keeping His Promises, and posts from all of them are aggregated on the home page.
It’s all organized in blog format, nice and clean and on the plain side. It’s modern—notice the iframe-embedded job creation chart is all Javascript and jquery, not Flash. Nice.
