Guy Kawasaki, in an interview with Jennifer Jones on the Marketing Voices podcast, says what he’d do if he were the chief marketer for a company that doesn’t get new media. (He’d quit.)

He sounds like such a fun, nice Guy. No wonder he’s so popular.
I like this podcast, even though I tend to mistrust the motives of most PR people wanting to “shape the conversation.” Jennifer sounds like she knows her stuff, and knows everybody.
The podcast’s signoff grates on my sensibilities. “May all the voices you hear be marketing voices.” What a horrid wish, if you take it literally. It must be one of those phrases that the creator of something finds so clever it can’t be let go of, despite what it means.

He is a wonderful human,and I have been fortunate to know him for many years having worked with him both in his Apple days and then while on his board of advisors of Garage Technology Ventures. I am sorry my sign-off grates on you…i know some people have told me they love it and others hate it…my 15-year old son helped me create it and i must admit since he had his hand in it and I adore him…well you know how that goes! Interesting though he does not like listening to podcasts(and not marketing voices) nor does my 17 year old son, although they are IPOD addicts.

Your mention of Apple, and just after reminded me to wonder if Andie Cunningham is still around. I met with her about a job in the mid-80s during an aborted stint in on the Penninsula (one of those dragged along like so much baggage by the ex things).
