Faith Salie, on the new public radio program, Fair Game, refers to a remark by Dick Cheney’s remark in an interview with Wolf Blitzer. (I really tried to link to the CNN.com for this but darned if I could work out a way to put in a direct link to the video.)
Here’s the surrounding context of the clue clip, explaining why she went off on the theme of having the “stomach” for things.
I like Salie. She’s funny (she’s a comedian), and sees things in covering the news that you don’t hear from the stock sources of satire. She has a young hip style; I think it’s the vibe Amanda Congdon is going for.
One of the nice things about podcasts of public radio programs is you can hear shows not broadcast in your area. We have one of the best stations in the country here in Chicago, but no station can air all the good stuff.
